Stained Glass Nails

Today I redid an old nail design. It's too cold to do dark colors so I had to do neon. I know I will get distracted by these until I take them off. Even though they took a while, I love them and will always go back to doing this design!
I used OPI Nail Envy and China Glaze Strong Adhesion for base coats, CG Flip Flop Fantasy, Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, and Kiwi Cool-ada, Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, Butter London Slapper, a black striper, and Deborah Lippmann Addicted to Speed Topcoat.

They match my phone case!

I'll for sure be doing these again! They're bright and fun!

Cat ring competition!

So my dad and I love to make jewelry and we both like cats. So we thought we would put them both together and make it a competition to see who would make the best cat ring! The technique we used was a first for me. Wax casting is a pretty long process but so fun and rewarding! In the end I won (but I was going to win no matter what).
These are the final rings! My dad's is on the left and mine is on the right. His is much more realistic where mine is cute!
While I was carving the cat I realized my nails were matching a lot of things in the lab!

Doing this was so fun! I learned new things and love my ring so much! It messed up my nails but it was so worth it!

Starting out!

This blog is going to be full of nails and jewelry. I love to make cool jewelry and paint what I think are awesome nails! Cats will be thrown in as well. I can't help it!
